In Home Support Services Scam

Our office has received a report that individuals are going door to door in senior communities and offering a service to help elderly or disabled persons sign up for In-Home Support Services for a flat fee of $500.   

These government services are available at no cost and do not require you to pay a fee to sign up for the program or require assistance of an outside consultant to file for these benefits. 

Be cautious of any person advising you that you need to pay a fee to participate or obtain benefits from a government program.
