80 Out-of-CountyProtesters Arrested Following Trespass of Petaluma Duck Farm
On June 3,2019 at approximately 10 am, Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department deputies,assisted by officers from Santa Rosa Police Department, Petaluma Police Department,and California Highway Patrol, responded to the Reichardt Duck Farm at the 3700block of Middle Two Rock Road after receiving a report of animal rightsprotestors staging a demonstration at that address. FG Meadows Ordered to Pay Penalties of $40,000, Restitution to Tenants in Price Gouging Case
District Attorney Jill Ravitch announced today that FG Meadows, LLC, the owner and operator of the Meadows at Fountaingrove Apartments in Santa Rosa, agreed to a Stipulated Judgment, approved and ordered by Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Elliot Daum, resolving allegations of price gouging. Fifty-eight-year-old California prison inmate Carl Dick was denied parole by the state board of parole on Tuesday following a hearing related to the sexual assault of his three young daughters between 1996 and 1998. Dick pled guilty in 1999, and was thereafter sentenced to fifteen years to life in prison. Read full story

Gang Member on ParoleSentenced to Prison Following High Speed Pursuit and Recovery of a Firearm
Defendant Mateo Julian Sandoval, 22 years old of Santa Rosa, was sentenced to a seven year four month prison term by the Honorable Dana Simonds on April 16 following his no contest plea in March of this year to charges of felony evading, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and unlawful possession of ammunition.
